originally I wanted to stay for 2 nights. you were recommended by a friend who has stayed at your hotel, she owns a guest house in Balatonfured. I asked her if she can recommend and low key mountain hotel
upon attempting to pay via credit card, it did not work! Bence was on the front desk attempted to find a solution to paying! He was kind, helpful and professional and Sincere! He quoted me a good price and allowed me to pay when I arrived. Mostly because of his manner, I booked for 4 nights. Upon arriving back in Budapest, I went to my bank. It seems, when I originally did the paperwork for my card, they omitted checking the box that allowed me to pay on-line! The food and service was excellent dining room, The chef and Attila, the waiter made sure that I got my special cirok pasta at each dinner. when Attila was not on, the other wait staff graciously had my pasta delivered to my table at 6PM. The view and air were pristine. The bus ride via Volan had amazing drivers on those winding roads, as a school bus driver, I appreciated their skill. The ceramicist was demanding that I make something on her wheel. Reluctant at first, but she was persistent and I enjoyed it so much. The one man band and magician were engaging. As a performer myself, I also appreciated their work. Great place for children. Maybe we will see yu again in another season. OH, the tv worked good during the Olympics and the staff was quick in helping me when I forgot the code to the room safe twice. Be well Jay

Good hotel in beautiful surroundings
Those who want to relax in a quiet place and in a beautiful environment, with an excellent kitchen and kind and courteous staff, will find what they are looking for. The main dishes in the evening are excellent. Cleaning is done upon special request. A small criticism: over the years, the interior fittings start to wear a bit, such as the condition of the carpet or the shower. In addition to the excellent desserts, there were several times only unripe fruits (peaches, grapes, melons). In the last hour of breakfast, the most delicious pastries were already sold out, just like the 1/4 liter lactose-free milk, maybe they could serve it in a 1 liter bottle, which would only mean a negligible price for the company.
